Novel vs Book

M.H. brealey Asked:

1. What's the difference between a novel and a book?

2. How old are you before it can be said you died of old age?

3. If nobody buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?

4. If someone owns a piece of land, do they own it all the way to the center of the earth?

5. Do penguins have knees?

M.H. Brealey

1. A book, a written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers.
A novel, a fictitious prose narrative of book length, typically representing character and action with some degree of realism.

2. Old age is of the mind, so if you die when you think you are old (of natural causes) you die of old age.

3. I will answer with a question, if a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it does it still make a sound.

4. I answered this question in the Braille Olympics post.

5. Yes, penguins have knees there just hidden by feathers.
